BioScreen Testing Services, Los Angeles, CA, recently hosted a delegation of 25 officials from the Chinese Food and Drug Administration of Chongqing City P.R. China. Over a three-week period, the officials travelled throughout the U.S. to gain a better understanding of the current practices of food and drug safety. China is looking to improve their regulatory oversight and standards.

During the visit, BioScreen conducted a presentation on how the U.S. FDA inspects and regulates laboratories and industries, and also conducted a comprehensive tour of the BioScreen Laboratories. In addition to educating officials on U.S. general practices, BioScreen management also learned a great deal regarding the regulation of drugs and cosmetics in China and gained invaluable insight into China’s current and future regulatory goals.
